get a Revolver

An old-fashioned Revolver will never let you down, whereas a fancy automatic will invariably jam, keep it beside you, a Knife is another thing altogether...

learn to fight back, from a simple disagreement with words to the inflated moments when attacked by a random stranger who wants to take your life and all its happiness...

if you happen to be in a land where you can keep a secret weapon, like raw wit mace or a gun up your shirt...

if you ever pull it use it, or they will win, never let a bastard take your Joy away... Fight till the light goes out... give it all you got do not go gently into that black night of fear and doom...

so when your back is against the wall before you fall take aim and pull that trigger... Own it, don't get that one moment wrong or there will be no more moments... the chance to stay alive is round every corner of a road you never previously visited...

you always have a right to fight back... by all means, be a peacemaker but don't let 'em kick you on the floor and get away with it, even if all you can do is scream... don't go quiet and play dead, make all hassle you can create... let them feel your rage...
