Trip Switch..

in 1796 a Physician who was to be guillotined the next day asked a friend to pick up his head after it dropped into the basket, and watch how many times if at all he could still Blink..

well; as it happened his friend, a fellow Physician did exactly as he was bid, in an attempt to measure the "life force" and its duration of lingering until the light goes out, as it were... how long life persists until the moment the whole person is irretrievably gone for good.. properly dead; no less, no longer measurably alive....

it turns out, he could blink 23 times slowly, approximating 20-30 seconds of consciousness... You have to admire such a resolve in anyone with the guts to go through either task...

But the Stomach of a Scientist is impermeable to fear and superstition they have a higher cause and pursuit that explores the "mystery of life and observations of Death... in all it's ("to us") grotesque and fearful forms..

But in Germany many years later, it was discovered that Death can be instantaneous without any injury to the Body at all.. as there is a strange phenomena that can only be described as a 'fuse or trip switch' that ends all life "at once"...

In other words a shock alone can kill you... not electric; but a hidden detonator inside your mind, that an external influence can trigger.. like a "flick Switch" that turns your Hall Lights on.. but in this case turns the entire house off...

in even more other words; ''thinking bad thoughts can kill you..'' when you hit the one that causes this unique "internal fusion" you stop:

it's time to reconsider the laws of Karma... when your own conscience is your Hangman in the end... redemption is a good idea, if only you could find it?... the end; doesnt have to be the end of life.. just look at the body as a placenta, which you shed to be born.. into a higher form of disembodied childhood, for another test and trial of your old soul... to live forever you must have a body first, then shed last..

Which is then destroyed so you can finally move on.. elsewhere.. Don't dread it look forward to it.. it is a greater freedom than this confined little life... be Glad not Sad.. Joyful not woeful..

You're halfway there already..
