EMOTIONAL EDUCATION

Of all the subjects taught in School's and Universities.. 2 agendas are officially omitted.. the most glaring omission is the rules of sociological personal interaction.. i.e. Manners & behaviour..

how to react to the negative behaviour of others.. the correct response to being subjected to "put downs, Aggression and how to respond therein.. its like sex education used to be, you found out for yourself with much fumbling and ignorance, well that has largely been addressed in the last 20 years.. but how to "behave" to the best advantage has been ignored...

so you get kids to find out by experimentation... where behaviour is concerned.. and many succeed as Professionals but fail as "humans" the value of correct interaction is not to be underestimated.. so much in life depends on how you behave under duress.. the mark of a Man is the metal of his/her character, weakness in this area is the flaw that makes a diamond worthless...

Strength of Spirit is an accident of life, but the weak and clueless degenerate into drugs, criminality and the wrong people, who in turn corrupt what little virtue was in existence.. just a simple lesson on "how to say no" without alienating yourself from the judgment of other's...

So WHEN is the curriculum going to include "Human behaviour & Emotional Education" coz lets face it.. Children are born stupid.. some of them never grow up, do they? look at me... I am as dumb as it is possible to become.. so if you ever have Kids, please teach them the Value of Good manners...

Many have tried, and many have died for the lack of such insight.. it's our job to teach the unlearnable to the unwilling... the gift of good manners will save you from a lifetime of wrong turns... yet there is no Cure for plain idiocy.. Dont I know it...  Question is.. Do You?..
